What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality dental cleanings and preventive care, including scaling and root planing.
- Educate patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and preventive treatments.
- Take and review digital X-rays using Dexis to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
- Maintain detailed, accurate patient records in Dentrix.
- Partner with the dentist to assess and treat patients, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for every patient.
- Stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required, with 4+ years preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Dentrix and Dexis preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Licensure: Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Illinois.
- Patient-Focused Approach: Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient education.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
