What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality dental cleanings and preventive care, including scaling and root planing.
  • Educate patients on oral health, hygiene techniques, and preventive treatments.
  • Take and review digital X-rays using Dexis to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate patient records in Dentrix.
  • Partner with the dentist to assess and treat patients, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for every patient.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years required, with 4+ years preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Dentrix and Dexis preferred; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Licensure: Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Illinois.
  • Patient-Focused Approach: Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient education.
  • Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

Qualifications:
  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification


Preferred Experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
