Gilder Creek Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative, fast-paced, and hardworking team! We are open to both new graduates and experienced hygienists who are passionate about patient care and professional growth. Whether you're seeking a full-time or part-time position, we'd love to meet you!
Schedule:
- Full-Time: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Part-Time: Flexible scheduling available
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling & root planing
- Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and document findings accurately
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, prevention, and treatment plans
- Take and review digital X-rays and intraoral images
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist in treatment planning
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a seamless workflow
- Ensure compliance with sterilization and infection control protocols
- Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service, making every patient feel comfortable and informed
Qualifications:
- South Carolina Dental Hygiene License (or eligibility to obtain)
- New graduates welcome - no prior experience required!
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus but not required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- A positive, hardworking, and professional attitude

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
