Dental Hygienist - Full-Time
Location: Glen Burnie Dental Care, Glen Burnie, MD
Glen Burnie Dental Care is growing and looking for a friendly, passionate, and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team full-time! We are a collaborative, fast-paced, and compassionate office seeking someone who is goal-oriented, positive, and excited to find their long-term dental home.
Schedule:
- Monday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
( Arrival is 30 minutes prior to patient care hours for setup and morning huddle )
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic care to patients
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health
- Take digital x-rays using Dexis and Kodak imaging systems
- Record and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide seamless patient care
- Be open to assisted hygiene as needed to support team goals
- Maintain a clean and organized operatory, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, and Kodak is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
- Desire to grow professionally and contribute to a hardworking and supportive team

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
