Job Summary: Loma Linda University is seeking multiple Dental Specialists II in Loma Linda, CA. Dental Specialist II will serve at Associate Professor rank and assume responsibility for managing and directing dental clinical care provided by pre-doctoral dental students and delivered to patients of the dental school. Teach, mentor and advise students related to dental clinical care. Promote the University Core Values and LLUSD standards of care, overseeing comprehensive care for Dental School patients with dental health problems, including developing treatment plans, directing clinic students and staff in patient care and prescription writing. Instruct and supervise in oral diagnosis and treatment planning and key areas of dental expertise. Provide direct patient care and refer patients to other qualified practitioners as needed. Work with patient care manager and schedulers to ensure appropriate efficiency in clinic utilization and patient care. Engage in dental science research and participate in faculty decision-making in departmental committees. Perform other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent in Dentistry required.

Licensures and Certifications: Active license to practice dentistry, valid exemption from licensure from State of California, or special exemption from the Dental Board of California required. Completion of Advanced Dental Education Program.
