Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Deploy Tyler Enterprise Public Safety software applications in cloud environments.
• Transfer existing client data from on-premise systems to the cloud.
• Validate that all deployed software is properly installed and configured through various smoke tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software deployment.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on client software installations.
• Partner with our client's IT departments to successfully execute the cloud migration.
• Provide technical training to clients regarding software installation procedures as needed.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Document deployment processes and issues encountered, as well as client interactions and lessons learned to proactively resolve issues for future deployments.
• Ensure proper time submission against projects for future forecasting efforts.
• Build strong relationships with team members and clients.
• Deliver exceptional service and support.
• Work on multiple projects without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

• An understanding of software deployment, cloud technologies, data migration, and networking basics.
• Working knowledge of navigating or installing applications against Windows or Linux systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated eagerness and ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Preferably, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in a Deployment Engineer or similar role, especially in cloud deployments, is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server systems is a plus.
