Overview of Position

We are seeking a Deployment Manager to join our Smart Building Technology team. This person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and remote support of smart building solutions at Groove. As the Deployment Manager, you will collaborate with field operations and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of project scopes, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and proactive updates to ensure that project goals are met on time, within budget, and with complete customer satisfaction.

What you'll own

• Review the Statement of Work (SOW) prepared by the engineering team and collaborate with assigned Field Ops team members.
• Own the success of the project scope, ensuring it is completed efficiently, accurately, and successfully.
• Design, plan, and execute a comprehensive action plan to ensure customer satisfaction, while managing project budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with other Solution Deployment Managers to oversee multiple solution implementations.
• Create daily project milestones based on the SOW and provide proactive status updates to the Project Manager.
• Verify FUSE workspace for project creation, ensuring readiness for the deployment phase.
• Partner with Field Ops team members to update FUSE deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct daily check-ins with the Field Ops team to address needs, challenges, or provide guidance.
• Provide remote support for on-site technicians from project initiation to completion.
• Deliver daily updates to the Project Manager, including any potential needs for change orders.
• Maintain project notes and update the CRM with the current deployment stages.
• Serve as the first line of defense for technical escalations or support needs.
• Provide feedback to Engineering teams on engineered solutions, identifying areas for improvement or refinement.
• Perform quality audits on installations to ensure 100% compliance with Groove and industry standards.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Experience and skills you'll have

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
• Resourceful and adept at solving technology-related problems.
• Experience with Smart Building Technology systems, including:
  • Parcel Lockers
  • EV Charging Stations
  • Leak Detection Systems
  • PMS (Property Management System) Integration
  • Energy Management Systems
  • Smart Thermostats & Smart Lighting
• Experience or understanding of low voltage cabling is a plus.
