DEFINITION
Under general direction, coordinates, supervises, and manages one or more functions of an operational or administrative unit of the Court and may assist in the overall administration of a major division of the Court.
This classification serves in a management capacity, and is responsible for overseeing complex personnel matters and leading and developing teams in an operational and/or administrative unit of the Court including Court programs and projects. The classification works closely with judicial officers, Court staff, community partners, vendors and other related agencies.
THIS RECRUITMENT WILL ESTABLISH AN ELIGIBILITY LIST FOR FUTURE VACANCIES FOR VARIOUS LOCATIONS/DEPARTMENTS THROUGHOUT THE COURT AS WELL AS THE CURRENT VACANCY LISTED BELOW.

The work environment is generally clean inside buildings with limited exposure to dust, fumes, odors, and noise. Incumbents will be working under sometimes difficult and stressful conditions, with frequent deadlines and expectation to produce high quality work under limited time constraints as well as periodic contact with angry and confrontational individuals. The ability to work independently as well as closely with others is required.

- Overseeing construction projects across all facilities, including maintenance, remodel, and space-planning.
- Overseeing building & personnel safety and security, including fire drills, within the organization
- After-hours support required (5% compensation differential applied)

- Manages one or more programs, projects, or functions;
- May assist in the overall administration of a Division;
- Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates directly and/or through subordinate supervisors the activities of the program, project, or function;
- Performs supervisory duties, including training staff, assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, and resolving employee grievances;
- Coordinates the work of the program, project, or function with other divisions or units;
- Interprets Court policies and procedures to staff and the public;
- Assists in preparing and administering the budget for the program, project, or function;
- Collects, compiles, verifies, and presents data;
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Functions, operating procedures, and relationships within the justice system including the Superior Court, law enforcement agencies, State and County Justice Partners, and union-represented employees.
ABILITY TO:
- Supervise, coordinate, train, evaluate, and direct the staff and activities in a variety of responsibilities within a program, project, function in the Court;
- Review legal documents and other documentary evidence for accuracy and compliance with legal procedures and formats;
- Interpret and apply specific procedural law, rules, and policies;
- Work well under pressure, ensure that multiple court deadlines are met;
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, effectively managing stakeholder or vendor expectations;
- Maintain confidentiality;
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

- Periodic to regular lifting, walking, and carrying of files, documents, and other Court related materials. Incumbents must have the ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs;
- Work with time constraints and under pressure in some situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Strength, dexterity, and coordination and/or ability to use a computer keyboard and read a video display terminal on a regular basis;
- Ability to listen to verbal requests from the public and court staff, then respond appropriately;
- Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper, occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 10 lbs., such as: files, stacks of paper, reference books, and other materials;
- Frequent need to reach for items above and below desk level, sometimes with the assistance of a ladder or step-stool;
- Standing and sitting for long periods of time is periodically required.
