The City of Rialto is seeking a Deputy Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services. This position supports the Director in overseeing the operations, programs, and strategic direction of the Parks and Recreation Department, including budgeting, staffing, parks maintenance, and facility management. It involves preparing reports for City leadership, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and resolving public concerns related to the parks and City services. The role requires strong leadership in supervising staff, evaluating and improving department operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies. Describe your experience developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance management plan for parks and recreation facilities.In your response, please include: The size and scope of the park system or facilities under your oversight (e.g., total acreage, types of amenities, number of sites and staff). How you planned, scheduled, and prioritized preventative maintenance, work orders, and capital improvement needs. A specific example of how your maintenance planning approach led to measurable improvements in efficiency, safety, or quality of service.
