Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Deputy Executive Director assists with planning, directing, coordinating and managing the activities of the Agency, acts in the absence of the CEO, and is responsible for overseeing operations of finance and accounting, communications, human resources, procurement, policy analysis, internal auditing and risk analysis. In addition, the Deputy Executive Director works in concert with the Chiefs to manage and deliver projects and services throughout the organization and the communities we serve.
Competencies and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position is a service-oriented team player with housing experience who has great communication skills and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment to work efficiently and effectively. Qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field and ten years of progressively responsible experience developing, evaluating, and/or managing significant public programs and/or initiatives. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. This position will require the selected candidate to possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License.
