Status: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Hybrid/Remote: The successful candidate can work on a Hybrid/Remote basis, reporting into one of our offices located in Pennsylvania or North Carolina.

The Deputy General Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of Instem Clinical. This position is integral to strategic planning, operational management, and ensuring that all departments achieve their performance targets. The Deputy General Manager not only monitors and evaluates the progress of initiatives but also drives executive and functional sponsors to meet deadlines, milestones, and resolve any roadblocks.

What to expect?
Assist the General Manager in the development and implementation of organizational strategies, projects, and practices.
Oversee daily operations and ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
Drive the execution of initiatives by coordinating with executive and functional sponsors, ensuring deadlines and milestones are achieved, and resolving any roadblocks.
Lead and manage business analytics and metrics for the company, including non-financial metrics, maintenance of key executive and business dashboards, and tracking progress related to key projects.
Handle escalated issues and provide solutions to complex problems.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop KPIs and other Department performance dashboards, and maintain and update dashboards.
Partner closely with Financial Business partner on reporting (e.g., monthly report documents) and any other special analysis.
Lead special projects assigned by the General Manager.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation at the company.
Act as the General Manager in their absence.
Adherence to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently.

Skills You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience as an Assistant or Deputy General Manager.
Strategic planning and execution.
Financial acumen.
Problem-solving and decision-making.
Excellent communication and negotiation.
Time management and multitasking.
Proven track-record for supporting and helping to supervise highly-strategic business projects.
Demonstrated success at designing, implementing, and maintaining analytical reports and dashboards.
Experience reporting and communicating at the Executive level.
Experience in the life science or health tech industries is highly desirable.
Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
Experience with AWS finops a plus
High proficiency in excel and powerpoint.
Knowledge of our Quality Management System and its application to tasks associated with this role.
