Hive Group is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the Project Manager in overseeing the delivery of acquisition and grants support services. The DPM will coordinate day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and manage administrative and functional staff across multiple support areas. This is a critical leadership role, requiring exceptional coordination, client engagement, and personnel management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the PM in managing BPA Call Order execution, including staffing, compliance, reporting, and performance oversight.
  • Serve as alternate POC for the COR and Government personnel in the PM's absence.
  • Lead task order planning, tracking, and reporting for assigned workstreams across acquisition, grants, administrative, and program management services.
  • Support onboarding, personnel transitions, training coordination, and timesheet compliance for contract staff.
  • Ensure team members adhere to IT security policies, remote work protocols, and acquisition lifecycle standards.
  • Manage and update task schedules, milestone tracking, and performance dashboards.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing monthly status reports, travel forecasts, and staffing updates for Government review.
  • Coordinate with functional leads to troubleshoot operational issues and implement quality improvements.
  • Participate in Government progress and performance meetings; document and follow up on action items and client feedback.
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure all deliverables meet documentation standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in federal procurement or grants management.
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or deputy project management role on a federal contract.
  • Demonstrated understanding of FAR, federal grants regulations, and federal acquisition lifecycle processes.
  • Experience supporting performance management and QA initiatives in government contracts.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools (MS Excel, SharePoint, project dashboards).
