The HBM Design Development Team leads are dedicated to ensuring high quality, on time tapeouts of HBM designs whilst driving continuous improvements to our processes. We collaborate closely with a wide cross functional team including Architecture, Front end design, Physical design, Verification, CAD and several post silicon groups to ensure a high-quality product first time, on time, every time!

As an HBM Design Development Engineer, you will help oversee the design development of HBM products, ensuring design targets like schedule, performance, power, quality cost etc. are met. You will do so by assisting in leading a cross functional Design Development Team (DDT) through the product lifecycle, managing risks, applying, and contributing to lessons learnt and manage change control.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members to plan requirements, handle change requests, and track project schedules.
  • Use tools like Microsoft Project to develop and publish schedules and dependencies. Supervise the plan throughout the project and follow up on required actions.
  • Assist in identifying program and technical risks and build mitigation plans in collaboration with design, strategy, and architecture teams.
  • Participate in lessons learned workshops to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Attend regular meetings of the multi-functional team to track execution and progress, send out updates, and represent HBM design in forums like PDT.
  • Support regular (weekly) reporting of the program status to leadership and coordinate report outs at work reviews and program reviews.
  • Help develop and refine business processes to improve execution.
  • Engage with design contractors, IP vendors, external foundries, and procurement teams.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent + 2 years of experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members across geographies and time zones.
  • Willingness to learn about DRAM operation and the HBM product family.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work with team members globally.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of custom or digital design flows.
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies.
