The Design Engineer for Water/Wastewater is responsible for designing and implementing effective solutions for water and wastewater systems. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative designs that meet regulatory standards and serve community needs.

Position Overview
The Design Engineer for Water/Wastewater is responsible for designing and implementing effective solutions for water and wastewater systems. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative designs that meet regulatory standards and serve community needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs for water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, treatment facilities, and pumping stations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water and wastewater management.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and support during construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water/wastewater system design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
