Job Description
Join an innovative startup with a vision of being the first company to 3D print complex Aerospace & Defense parts and components. The company is currently designing and building a 3D printing machine capable of tight tolerance manufacturing of specialized parts and components, aiming to save OEM Aerospace and Defense customers significant money. Future plans include targeting the Automotive and Medical Device industries. Currently, the company has 10 employees and recently purchased a manufacturing space, with production expected to start in June of 2025.
Responsibilities
Onsite in an office environment. Expected onsite 5 days per week with an 8-4 type schedule, flexible on start time.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.08/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Design Engineer in designing the 3D printer.
- Develop and optimize designs for complex, high-precision equipment, including motion control systems, material handling components, and structural assemblies.
- Focus on linear and rotary motion precision, thermal stability, and vibration damping.
- Work on designs for machined, fabricated, and welded parts.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience with NX Design (SolidWorks or CATIA considered if other must-haves are met).
- Experience in designing parts that are fabricated, machined, or welded.
- Strong GD&T experience.
- 5+ years of applicable work experience.
- Experience with 3D printing or machining outside of work.
