Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Product Engineering / Design & Releasing
Product Engineering / Design & Release of Automatic transmissions and gear reducer's structure and park systems, castings and other structures components (cast and machined aluminum gearbox housings and covers, steel stampings, cast iron components, fasteners, seals etc.).
Experience in the development of technical requirements for park system components (pawl, gear, rod, etc.) and subsystems of automatic and hybrid transmissions and Gear reducers and electric drive module units.
Experience in the automotive industry or product engineering design, validation and engineering projects development with OEM and/or tier 1/2 supplier.
Experience in transmission, driveline & axles or related area
Thorough understanding of vehicle functions for general vehicle architecture
Understanding of typical automotive manufacturing and quality processes
Advanced English language skills 90% (read and write)
Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools
Computer Aided Designs
Familiarity with cad systems/ NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter
Experience in the design of complex castings and precision machined components
Ability to apply GD&T and perform component stacks
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Strong organization, planning and data management skills
Strong written and oral communications to provide guidance, participate / contribute to design and packaging meetings
Job Description:
Develop core automatic and hybrid transmissions and gear reducer design structure and park systems
Develop technical requirements for castings and other structures components, park system components
Ensure CAD and model updates
Complete Tool Kick-Off (TKO) documentation, DRBTR documentation
Develops DFMEAs and evaluates designs for failure modes robustness
CAD-Work with design team to ensure 100% of Bills of Material released in Teamcenter
Support quality reviews, Conduct and support testing.
