As a Meta Developer Support Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting large-scale, highly-technical, internal products. The infrastructure is among the largest and most advanced of its kind in the world. You will be embedded within an internal product team with responsibilities that include answering frontline support questions, being the keeper of the user experience in team meetings, and helping impact product direction.

Developer Support Engineer Responsibilities
- Respond to and triage support questions and support requests from Meta engineers.
- Document and build on developer support processes and workflows, provide feedback, plan improvements, and drive success.
- Work with documentation teams, engineers, product management, and engineering leadership to deliver customer feedback and highlight patterns that can help prioritize product features or bug fixes.
- Perform bug fixes and other coding tasks as needed.
- Create, edit, and follow technical documentation and runbooks to research and resolve user issues.
- Critically analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and distill solutions into clear and concise communications.
- Work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple assignments and/or responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in computer science, technical writing, physics, mathematics, or chemistry or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with a programming language such as JavaScript, Objective-C, Java, PHP, or Python.
- 2+ years of experience in developer support and/or developer outreach for a developer audience or equivalent experience.
- Experience with the technical development process of writing code, testing, and releasing to production.
- Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills.
