Job Decription:
Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Risk Technology environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Developers work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Developers are expected to have in-depth finance, risk and allowance product and subject matter expertise, and conform to risk and compliance standards. Developers typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Typically requires 7+ years of applicable experience.
Required Skills:
o Must have 5+ years of development experience in any of the RDBMS like
ORACLE / Exadata
SYBASE
TERADATA
NETEZZA
MS SQL
o 2+ years of hands on experience with developing and executing Hive and Impala queries.
Analyzing data with Hive, Impala, Spark
Data scrubbing and processing with Oozie.
Importing and exporting the data using Sqoop from HDFS to Relational Database systems/mainframe and vice-versa.
Loading data into HDFS.
Familiarity with MapReduce paradigm
o 5+ years of experience in any ETL tools like, Informatica, InfoSphere, TalenD etc.
o Experience writing Shell scripts in LINUX.
o Must have excellent and in-depth knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, stored Procedures
o Must have experience in Software Design Patterns, Best Practices
o Must have hands on experience with Large Data Warehouses
o Experience developing a batch process
o Have the zeal to contribute, collaborate and work in a team environment
o Must have excellent communication skills
