Platform Engineer Developer experience
Developer Portals and Tools:
CI/CD and DevX Pipelines: Utilize tools like Harness, Backstage, Cortex to automate the deployment and integration processes, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Containerization and Orchestration: Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, enabling scalable and resilient application deployments.
Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Datadog to ensure the health and performance of the platforms.
Code Quality and Security: Use tools like SonarQube for code quality analysis and Snyk for security vulnerability scanning to maintain high standards of code quality and security.
Documentation and Collaboration: Utilize platforms like Confluence or Notion for documentation and collaboration, ensuring that all team members have access to up-to-date information and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering mindset to setup the IDP, with the mindset of hard core development and architecture, and guiding the team in right direction
Design, develop, and implement advanced AI solutions to solve complex business problems across various domains.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of developer experience platforms and internal developer portals.
Very well acquainted and implemented standard enterprise design patterns as well as automating the same
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the platforms meet the needs of developers.
Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and support.
Continuously improve the developer experience by identifying and addressing pain points.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platforms remain cutting-edge.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the developer experience platforms and portals.
Salary Range- $110,000-$125,000 a year
