About the Role:

We're looking for a Development Associate to support the full lifecycle of multi-family real estate development-from site selection and underwriting through construction oversight and project completion. You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external consultants to drive projects forward with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple development projects, maintaining timelines, budgets, and communication with internal and external teams.
• Conduct market research and assist with site selection, due diligence, and acquisition efforts.
• Underwrite projects and maintain financial models to evaluate investment returns.
• Support entitlement, permitting, and compliance processes with local and state agencies.
• Oversee construction milestones, budgets, change orders, and consultant coordination.
• Partner with property management and asset management teams to optimize unit mix, marketing, and lease-up strategies.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years in real estate development, finance, or construction (multi-family strongly preferred).
• Strong skills in Excel financial modeling, budgeting, and project management software (ARGUS a plus).
• Ability to analyze complex deals, read construction documents, and manage shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strategic, problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); willingness to travel as needed.
