Required Qualifications
Jeanne Clery Act
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal statute requiring colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics and security information. By October 1 of each year, institutions must publish and distribute their Annual Campus Security Policy & Crime Statistics Report (ASR) to current and prospective students and employees. - Provides clinical care for children and adolescents with a wide range of developmental and behavioral concerns, including but not limited to: autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Provides outpatient care with occasional inpatient consults
- Participates in the education of medical students and residents
- Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
- Engages in the advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
- Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission
- Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
- Upholds and promotes the values-based culture of TTUHSC El Paso
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in teaching Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Medicine to medical students and residents in clinical and classroom settings
- Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in Developmental - Behavioral Pediatrics
- Established or emerging regional or national reputation for the rank of Associate Professor or higher

Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree, or foreign equivalent
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Program
- Texas medical license, or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Texas
