• Technology requirements
• Min 6+ yrs hands on experience in Ansible Devops technologies
• Strong technical skills in CI CD pipelines
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Be a key technical contributor on this team.
• Partner with immediate team, architects, IT counterparts, leadership, and business partners
• Partner effectively with vendor in implementing solutions.
• Strong Written and verbal skill is required
• Contribute to technical direction, decisions, and innovation opportunities
• Leverage and continuously help develop best practices, standards, and frameworks
• Understand client business functions and technology needs. Understand Vanguard's tools, technologies, and applications/databases, including those that interface with business area and systems.
• Learn and comply with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures. Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ansible Production Elevations support [ this includes right from reviewing bitbucket configs pull request changes, patching Ansible prod job templates & monitoring prod elevation status and helping with prod deployment failures ]

Provide on-call support

New Provisioning Requests for non-prod :

Setting up new release in bitbucket & non-prod Ansible Job templates (for application new release work)

Set up of new applications coming for other orgs.

Linux Client Support requests :

Debugging issue support tickets

Ansible deployment failures in non-prod

Application retiremnet process [ including : Telecom req, Content Request, Region decomission,... ]

Control-M job set up and maintenance

Post-cert HVLM application maintenance when needed

Consultation support when needed for Applications

Manage server inventory files in bitbucket

Ensure permissions / ownership / access to new servers for Ansible deployments

Miscellaneous

Work on any new initiatives :

Applications RHEL8 upgrades

tcserver & apache upgrades - correspnding Ansible playbook & app config repo changes as needed

Siteminder upgrade/ updates for legacy applications

Changes needed to implement for Database upgrades

Any Tech Debts initiatives that require changes in Application config bitbucket repo

Internal Projects :

Any internal process improvements
