We are seeking DevOps Solutions Architect with extensive technical expertise to work with customers' complex business problems. In this role, you will work directly with customers to understand their infrastructure and business needs, and then present them with the most appropriate solutions. You'll develop and conduct live demonstrations, design and development of
larger, multiproduct solutions.
Responsibilities:
Identify the appropriate technologies to solve clients' problems
Scope, design, develop, test, and present proof-of-concept applications
Coach customers on using DevOps technologies
Assist sales teams in answering technical questions, possibly in the form of RFPs or RFIs
Form relationships with the client's technical staff to identify new opportunities
Leading the design and implementation of build, release and deployment of enterprise applications
Developing and building platforms and frameworks to allow consistent, traceable and automated management of application and infrastructure releases between Non-Prod and Production environments
Building infrastructure and middleware aspects of the overall solution.
Qualifications:
Must have:
Management and design of integrated build pipelines using continuous integration workflows such as Jira, Git, Stash, Bamboo, Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory, Nexus.
Hands-on experience with Linux Containers and container clustering technologies such as Docker swarm, Kubernetes, Rocket, and Open Container Project is preferred
Languages/Scripting: Java, javascript, C, C , Various shell flavors ksh, csh, bash , Perl, Python, XML, YAML, PHP, Ruby, JSON, Amazon Web Services Scripting, Puppet manifests
Web/App Servers: Websphere, IBM Portal Server, JBoss, Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat, SunOne, IIS, NGINX
Sample Utilities/Tools: Puppet, Chef, Webload, jCrawler
Strong experience in Linux/Unix, CentOS/Redhat/Ubuntu administration
Knowledge of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) experience using OpenShift by Red Hat, Heroku, Google Compute Engine, Apprenda, Pivotal CF, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry.
Hands-on experience in enterprise application architecture and development skills
Familiarity with Java development strongly desired; additional skills in Node.js, Spring and Play frameworks, Go, or .NET development are a plus
Familiarity with Java EE development on technologies like Red Hat JBoss Middleware EAP, Wildfly, Oracle WLS, or IBM is preferred
