Essential Job Functions
- Supervises the design, build, and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for software applications.
- Assists in automating the provisioning and management of cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Prepares monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Creates and maintains scalable cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensures security, high availability, and cost optimization.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required, including implementing containerization and collaboration with development and operations teams.
Job Requirements
- Education required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience required: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software engineering.
- Supervisory experience required: N/A
- Required licenses or certifications: Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud-native solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of networking, system security, and high availability best practices.
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard and other basic office equipment.
- Skill in utilizing personal computers and associated software programs for infrastructure automation.
- Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure scalability, security, and optimization of cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot system incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations.
