Job Summary
Under administrative direction, is responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations to enhance the speed, quality, and reliability of product delivery. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment. Exercises direct supervision over assigned staff.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervises the design, build, and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for software applications.
• Assists in automating the provisioning and management of cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Prepares monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Creates and maintains scalable cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensures security, high availability, and cost optimization.
• Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required, including implementing containerization and collaboration with development and operations teams.

Job Requirements

• Education required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience required: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software engineering.
• Supervisory experience required: N/A
• Required licenses or certifications: Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud-native solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking, system security, and high availability best practices.
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard and other basic office equipment.
• Skill in utilizing personal computers and associated software programs for infrastructure automation.
• Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure scalability, security, and optimization of cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot system incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations.
