Skills:
Enterprise DevSecOps (DSO) enables delivery of IT service capabilities enabling improved client experience.
The CI/CD Squads create CI/CD solutions utilizing automation in alignment with agile practices to build environments.
The CI/CD Squads create CI/CD solutions realizing software and infrastructure deployment automation into highly regulated
and controlled environments.
The role creates and delivers CI/CD solutions that meet varying end-user/customer demands while maintaining strict
security and availability standards
The focus of this role is to realize business, technical, and control group requirements through the application of Software
Implementation Lifecycle tasks.
This is a role with 85+% of work time focus on application development including, but not limited to, design, code,
documentation, test and supporting activities. The work will leverage a mix of front-end, back-end, middleware, transactional
and database skill sets and experience.
You will work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to define, program, test and deliver DevSecOps and
middleware software solutions on a combination of traditional and Cloud (AWS/Azure) Platforms using Agile methodologies.
You will engage in direct application development activities (programming: design, code, test) supporting agile teams toward
the rapid adoption of DevSecOps practices and toolsets.
You will operate as a vital component of an Agile Squad. As a senior squad member, you will collaborate with Development,
Architecture, and Infrastructure to implement technical designs. You will be engaged as a Subject Matter Expert.
Desired Industry Knowledge & Years of Experience:
Has 5-10+ years of experience as a Software Developer or DevOps & Build Release Engineer with a strong understanding of Business[1]Driven software integration and delivery approach.
Has 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps Methodologies.
Possesses a Financial Services or Mission Critical/High Resiliency Software Development Background.
Has earned a Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field.
Possesses and maintains deep knowledge and experience with DevSecOps, cloud computing infrastructure, application development
platforms, tools and techniques. You will engage teams with compelling solutions, ideas, designs, presentations, and discussions.
Is experienced in application configuration code compilation, packaging, building, automating, managing and releasing from one
environment to other environments and deploying to servers.
Has an in-depth understanding of principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management(SCM) in Agile, and SCRUM
methodologies.
Has expert level experience in a Linux environment . Good knowledge and understanding of database and application servers'
administration in a global production environment.
Maintains good knowledge in Chef and Ansible.
Can demonstrate strong experience in AWS technologies.
Is highly skilled/experienced in Jenkins for CI and for End-to-End automation for all build and CD.
Is Experienced in working with GIT, MAVEN, Nexus, BitBucket, and other tools.
Has in-depth knowledge of computer applications and scripting Java/J2EE, Groovy, Python, Shell, bash, JavaScript and XML.
Possesses knowledge networking protocols and firewalls.
Is experienced in deploying Database Changes to Oracle, db2, MSSQL and MYSQL databases.
Can demonstrate skills and experience automating and managing multiple environments for both production and non-production where
primary objectives included automation, build out, integration and cost control.
Has expertise in trouble-shooting problems generated while building, deploying and in production support.
Can speak to and solve the issues concerning creating and managing various development and build platforms and deployment strategies.
Demonstrates knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management, Change & Release Management and ITIL processes.
Is an expert in all aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) such as Analysis, Planning, Developing, Testing, Implementing and
Post-production analysis of the projects.
Demonstrates good interactions with developers, managers, and team members to coordinate job tasks and strong commitment to work.
Has documented daily meetings, build reports, release notes and many other day-to-day documentation and status reports.
Possesses excellent communicative, interpersonal, intuitive and analytic and leadership skills with ability to work efficiently in both
