Job Description
Job Title: Inpatient Registered Dietitian

Job Specialty: Dietitian

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day, Monday-Friday; Every third or fourth weekend

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience:

License: Current NJ or Compact License required upon submission

Certifications: CDR Certification required upon submission

Must-Have:
- COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster complete, no exemptions
- One supervisory/manager reference within 1 year of start date
- Must begin lab work within 2 business days of acceptance

Job Description:
- Provide dietary services to inpatients
- Follow specific dietary guidelines to ensure patient health and wellness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement patient diet plans
- Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust dietary plans as necessary
- Participate in meal planning and nutritional education for patients
- Complete required modules pre-start during orientation and annually, which vary by specialty
- Work within the scope of practice as defined by the relevant regulatory agencies
- Orientation is 8 hours, classified under non-billable time
