Job Description
- Installation and commissioning of complex Digital Cinema Systems
- Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of Digital Cinema Systems including emergency service
- Set up and commissioning of Digital Cinema projectors in a production environment such as film festivals, premieres and private screenings
Qualifications
- Barco Certified Expert (Christie and/or NEC certification a plus)
- Trouble-shoot complex audio, video and control systems
- Knowledge of low voltage AV presentation system installation practices and standards
- Install and configure basic networking equipment, including a working knowledge of IP addressing schemes and operating practices
- Knowledge of industry accepted grounding techniques, standards and code requirements
- Working skills that include termination of standard industry connectors, proper wire dressing and routing and conduit installation practices
- Demonstrated understanding of fundamental cinema presentation standards and practices
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and manufacturer specific applications)
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated team player
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the year
- Valid driver's license
- Strong organizational and communication skills
