The Digital Product Owner (PO) is a manager-level role responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver a top-tier customer experience aligned with business goals. Acting as a "first among equals," the PO leads the Product Team by fostering collaboration between Product Management, UX Design, and Development, while managing relationships with internal and external partners. With a passion for excellent customer experiences, the PO empathizes with user challenges and has strong instincts about consumer behavior and business dynamics.

We need a Product Owner who prioritizes customer happiness and is passionate about improving the Fulfillment capabilities within Bath & Body Works' Fulfillment Platform team. The PO will identify value-creating opportunities and drive innovative product solutions through technology. By adopting a start-up attitude, the ideal candidate will deliver unique, high-impact customer experiences and empower customers to fulfill their orders in ways that best work for them while also creating efficiencies in the pick/pack process to deliver our goods to consumers how and when they want them.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the digital product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Deeply understand partner workflows to define scalable solutions and optimize cross-channel Fulfillment product performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the product team, addressing questions from partners and team members.
  • Ingest business strategy, prioritize the backlog based on value and impact, and manage delivery of products on behalf of customers and partners.
  • Engage closely with partners to ensure understanding of business needs and improve existing capabilities.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and A/B testing to support continuous product improvement and measure results.
  • Communicate business value and outcomes to key team members and executives.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to stay aligned with sprint goals and coordinate with other Product Teams and the Enterprise Exceleration Office to manage dependencies.
  • Manage third-party solutions and relationships to enhance product capabilities while balancing feature development with technology modernization.
  • Continuously evolve processes to improve speed, quality, agility, and flexibility for the platform and the enterprise.
  • Define and scope requirements for end-to-end customer fulfillment channels (Buy Online, Pick Up in Store (BOPIS), same day delivery, subscription services, Buy Online, Return in Store (BORIS), etc.) while balancing incremental value and cost.
  • Identify and measure KPIs, adjusting strategies based on performance data, and report results to partners.
  • Work closely with tech teams to understand tradeoffs and lead agile execution through participation in ceremonies.
  • Stay informed about emerging solutions, industry trends, and customer needs to encourage adaptability.
  • Foster a strong agile discipline and inspire continuous improvement through understanding key agile metrics.
  • Recruit, train, and manage Product Analysts to uphold platform standards.
  • Ensure platform stability and operational integrity through on-call rotations and defect triage, while maintaining SLAs.


  • 7+ years of experience, with an increasing scope of responsibility, in digital operations, agile product management, project management, or a related function
  • 5+ years effectively leading teams or directly managing associates; including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing priorities
  • 3+ years Agile SDLC experience
  • Strong technical understanding, ability to translate to non-technical partners
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship building
  • Experience partnering with and managing 3rd party vendors
Preferred Qualifications

  • Jira and/or Confluence experience
  • 3rd party Fulfillment systems (Ordergroove, Instacart, Radial, Manhattan)
  • Analytics platform experience (Adobe, Quantum Metric)
  • General business and financial acumen
  • Retail store experience interacting with on the floor associates and with customers
  • Experience with fast-paced direct retail and/or e-commerce, or consulting environments
  • High curiosity, problem-solving, and learning orientation
  • Diverse work experience and background
Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
