Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00

Job Summary:
The Application Engineering Program Management Team at Cat Digital handles projects that provide marketing and digital solutions for Caterpillar dealers and customers. Your role involves planning, organizing, and executing cross-functional projects according to Cat Digital Strategy.
What You Will Do:
- Overseeing the daily operations of projects, including managing responsibilities and schedules.
- Documenting dependencies and creating contingency plans for potential risks.
- Leading and motivating the project team.
- Assessing and managing deliverables to ensure service expectations are realistic, developed, and met.
- Monitoring project outcomes for significant deviations and ensuring compliance with quality standards and processes.
What You Will Have:
- IT Project Control and Reporting: Working knowledge of project control and reporting; ability to monitor the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule.
- IT Project Management: Working knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
- IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Working knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Working knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Project Administration: Working knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
Considerations for Top Candidates:
- The position typically requires a college or university degree or certification that is equivalent, in computer science, information systems, or closely related disciplines
- Experience working with Software Engineering & Infrastructure teams in an agile environment (typically 3+ years)
- Proven experience with Project Management concepts including developing Project Charters, Scheduling and Planning Projects until successful completion
- Previous technical and Project Management experience in applications development with a broad background in systems hardware, system software, support and development methodologies, business planning, project management, and customer application needs. (typically 3+ years)
- Project management experience in application resiliency is highly desired: facilitate problem management, identify failures, drive architecture solutions with technical teams, and monitor recommendation implementation across the digital ecosystem
- Project management experience in IT security realm and involving ITSM concepts is highly desired
- Experience in large organizational change management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
- Working/advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps and Confluence
- Working/advanced knowledge of Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
- Change Management Certification preferred
- Agile training/certification (sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospective) preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification desirable
- Power BI knowledge is desirable
