Title: Solution Architect, eCommerce
Location: Any US location, candidate must be willing to travel up to 50%
Responsibilities:
Scoping, designing, and ultimately delivering a complex technical solution for a project involving the evolution of current software to a new generation platform
Participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of a client initiative
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum of 12 years of experience in Retail, Media or Insurance domain
2-3 years of project experience in architecting of Hybris/e-Commerce applications
Previous experience working on Hybris/e-Commerce products
Hands-on experience with Hybris/e-Commerce product code base
Experience in Java, Object Oriented programming and Multi-Threaded programming is required
Hands-on customer facing management and technical delivery experience
Well versed with presales, solutioning and estimation for solutions involving Hybris / e-Commerce products
Advanced technical depth and experience, technical leadership, and multi-faceted communication
Skills
Solid understanding of architectural design patterns specifically around channel, database and solution design
Proven understanding of SDLC, including Agile and Test driven methodologies
Good understanding from architecture and functionally on one of the e-Commerce product Hybris , Oracle ATG , IBM Commerce
Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders as well as Architecture team
Preferred but not mandatory skills:
Experience with mainstream e-Commerce platforms such as Hybris, IBM Commerce, ATG or Magento
Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions
