About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Technician to join our Marketing Technology team in the Photo Studio. This role will lead photo technical operations for our high-volume photo and video production studio, driving innovation, automation and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Hands-on subject matter expert for all photo technical operations and workflows.
  • Provide on-set quality assurance including color accuracy, focus, file naming, metadata, cropping standards and adherence to style guides.
  • Ensure all assets are captured, synced, and uploaded for all sets daily.
  • Train and support on-call digital techs while on set, ensuring high-quality image capture and adherence to brand guidelines across all shoots.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, and IT, to align technical solutions with business objectives and evolving brand needs.
  • Continuously drive innovation, implementing emerging technologies and process improvements to streamline studio operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and manage custom automation systems for file movement, metadata handling, and image processing.
  • Support production workflow tool, Creative Force, integration into Photo Studio and help establish on set photo technical best practices.
  • Document process and maintain Digital Tech SOPs.
  • Daily set up and maintenance of capture stations and monitors, troubleshooting any technical issues.


What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in high volume photo studio environment
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an on set Digital Tech
  • Strong technical knowledge of digital cameras and lighting equipment.
  • Expert knowledge of Capture One, Canon Camera Systems, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
  • Experience working in photo production workflow software, such as Creative Force and Airtable is ideal.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized file management practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work environment from our Dublin, CA Photo Studio.

The starting salary for this position is $76,300 - $105,000 and may increase to $120,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
