PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Will be a key contributor to the strategic design of patient-centered care delivery throughout the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of the clinical care provided across the Department's multiple clinical sites.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
POSITIONS, SUPERVISED OR DIRECTED (TITLES AND APPROXIMATE NUMBERS) : Senior Practice Manager, Ambulatory Nurse Manager and all their reports (PSAs, MAs, Surgical Schedulers, Nurses, Social Worker, Dietician)
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS : Patients, families, referring physicians, members of the Jefferson family, including our new affiliates,

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson .
- Lead all staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offering quality support to our providers
- Create new policies and update existing policies to improve the level of care for each patient
- Implement quality improvement programs that will assist the department to deliver the highest possible levels of service
- Work towards ensuring that all patient care plans have the documentation to provide the proper level of care
- Ensures operational efficiency, top of license practice and gold standard patient care in all of clinical settings.
- Performs reviews of practice business operations; develops recommendations and supports their implementation, promotes efficiency and effectiveness of practice operations at the divisional level.
- Performs reimbursement and coding analyses, develops policies and operating procedures, monitors legislative/regulatory developments and supports and monitors development/implementation of charge capture, patient registration, accounts receivable management, forms design, guest relations issues, etc.
- Analyzes department/divisional practice statistics, including information regarding patient visit and procedural volumes, payer mix, collection rations, practice revenues.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, Health Administration or health related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in healthcare management setting, with experience in a multi-practice physician group preferred.
- Expert knowledge of physician practice operations and workforce development.
