Description:
The Director of Portfolio Delivery will provide leadership and coaching to a team of Delivery leads and coaches within the digital team directing, coaching and coordinating activities to ensure that the goals and objectives of Trader are accomplished. Reporting to the CDO, this role will also be responsible for driving change within the digital organisation leveraging data science to constantly inspect and adapt our system of delivery. S/he will drive best practice standards and practices for Lean Kanban and Agile fundamentals.

Leadership :
- This positon will lead a team of delivery leads who are responsible for delivery of digital products and services across our Marketplace, BI, Consumer and Dealer Software Services/tribes.
- Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management.
- Coaches and provides leadership to continually improve our delivery capability using data science.
- Provides direction to Service Delivery Managers to ensure projects meet quality standards and non-negotiables.
- Drives transformational change to agile delivery and identifies and coaches the implementation of process improvements to align with the fundamentals while managing and tuning speed to market, quality and predictability measures
- Provides subject matter expertise to delivery leads and stakeholders on complex assignments.

- Identifies opportunities to proactively mentor business or project stakeholders in completing complex bodies of work.
- Develops and communicates reporting metrics and/or program dashboards that provide management and business stakeholders with quantifiable gauges of the delivery of business results. Eg cycle time, flow efficiency etc.

What You Have:
- 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years of experience in a management capacity lieu of Bachelors) (Minimum Required)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Additional agile / project management certification preferred.
- 7+ Years of experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 5 years of agile delivery experience including scrum master role and 3 years of experience in program/portfolio delivery, resource planning, reporting, and prioritization
- 4+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience (Required)
- In depth understanding of all popular methodologies and ways of working.
- Strong executive delivery/presence
- Experience communicating with senior and executive stakeholders concerning delivery status.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully hire, retain, develop and coach staff via a culture of real-time performance feedback, with ability to build both technical and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal stakeholders; proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills including the ability to coordinate and balance multiple bodies of work in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
