Job Description

Account Planning (or Brand Strategy) is core to Digitas Health's integrated strategy offering, working hand in hand with engagement and medical strategy to inform and inspire the creative product. This VP Director will be planning lead for HCP-focused work supporting a portfolio of brands in a multiple indication disease space. We are seeking a planner who can collaborate and communicate fluently with a range of strategy disciplines to impactfully connect people and ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Be the expert on our target HCPs, including how they make treatment decisions and any barriers to action currently holding them back from prescribing
  • Opportunity to expand on and refine how these brands go to market, evolving the way we target and engage HCPs after launch
  • Work side by side with medical strategy to develop strategic viewpoints that motivate action
  • Tap into strategy support and resources at the right moments to elevate the work
  • Play a critical role in the creative development process, partnering with the creative team to inspire breakthrough ideas
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their pain points, gain trust, and offer valuable strategic guidance
  • Responsible for deriving insights about our HCP targets and making these insights actionable for our teams to create meaningful interactions
  • Expected to not only apply our research learnings to our work but also find opportunities to mine insights to add to our knowledge base
  • Stay on top of competitive market shifts and implications on our portfolio
  • Design and facilitate workshops to uncover new thinking and align on paths forward
  • Oversee creation of creative briefs, with ownership over brand, target, and strategic alignment points


Qualifications

  • Ideal VP Director has 10+ years of experience in strategy roles for marketing-focused organizations or departments
  • Healthcare marketing experience is strongly preferred, and HCP marketing experience highly valued
  • Must be naturally curious and innately driven to understand the why
  • Must be adept at building trust within teams
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, and comfortable with clinical data
  • Exceptional presentation skills for both internal and external audiences, being able to build a story that holds the audience's attention
  • A well-rounded strategist who can both lead and team up with strategists of various disciplines and areas of expertise
  • Experience across all channels relevant to HCP marketing

Compensation Range: $127,585 - $183,330 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
