You will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and leadership to create new opportunities for alumni involvement while also supporting fundraising initiatives while overseeing a strategic portfolio and manage the Alumni Association's budget to achieve alumni relations goals.

HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED:
- Oversee and manage the alumni relations portfolio, providing strategic direction and guidance to the Manager, Alumni Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni around the world
- Develop and execute strategies to increase alumni engagement, foster lifelong connections, and drive fundraising support
- Manage the Alumni Association's annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility
- Identify and qualify alumni prospects to build a robust fundraising pipeline and support volunteer engagement efforts
- Provide assistance with networking events and alumni programs, including Homecoming, regional events, and other on-campus initiatives
- Assess alumni engagement, develop new programs, and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Partner with colleagues in Advancement, faculty, and school leadership to leverage existing programs and create new opportunities for alumni participation
- Lead and support the Alumni Association Executive Committee, ensuring effective governance and alignment with school leadership
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the Manager, Alumni Relations to ensure successful alumni engagement efforts
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A proven track record in relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholders, including alumni, faculty, and community leaders
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels
- Strong fiscal management skills, including the ability to prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and maximize return on investment
- Experience coaching, supervising, and mentoring staff and volunteers to drive successful outcomes
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating alumni communications strategies to build and maintain a successful alumni platform
- Ability to link alumni engagement efforts with fundraising opportunities to support the school's broader goals
- Proficiency in database management and knowledge of Raiser's Edge or similar tools for managing alumni data is an asset
- Ability to identify and secure alternative funding and revenue sources, in collaboration with school leaders and the Alumni Association Executive Committee
- Previous experience in an independent school or post-secondary education setting, as well as not-for-profit experience is an asset
