Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned leader with at least three years of comprehensive Vendor Central experience to join our executive team as the Director of Amazon Vendor Central Operations. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our Vendor Central channel, ensuring all operational aspects, from order fulfillment and shipment oversight to reporting and negotiation with Amazon, are executed flawlessly. Reporting directly to both the CEO and President, you will guide a dedicated team of brand managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to drive sustained growth and operational excellence.

Primary Objectives:
  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee the full spectrum of Vendor Central operations, ensuring that every aspect of the process aligns with our strategic business goals.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of brand managers dedicated to the Vendor Central channel, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and refine best practices to optimize reporting, order fulfillment, shipment management, and negotiation with Amazon to minimize chargebacks and maximize profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT and back-office teams to tailor systems, API integrations, and reporting tools that support our Vendor Central initiatives.
  • Growth & Scalability: Drive the ongoing expansion of our Vendor Central division, ensuring operational processes are scalable and meet the evolving needs of our top apparel brands.


Regular Work Activities:
  • Channel Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the Vendor Central channel, including detailed oversight of order creation, shipment logistics, and fulfillment processes.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to overcome platform limitations, streamline reporting, and reduce chargebacks.
  • Negotiation & Compliance: Serve as the primary negotiator with Amazon, ensuring that terms, reporting, and operational standards are consistently met.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, operations, and brand management, to integrate Vendor Central processes seamlessly into our existing systems.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO and President, highlighting performance metrics, growth opportunities, and actionable insights.

IT Background Requirement:

While this role is not technical in nature, a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and reporting systems is essential. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure our systems and API integrations are fully optimized for the unique demands of Vendor Central operations.

  • Executive Collaboration: Work directly with the CEO and President, providing strategic updates and insights on Vendor Central performance.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Partner with IT, sales, operations, and brand management teams to ensure that our Vendor Central processes are integrated and efficient.
  • Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for negotiations and communications with Amazon, ensuring compliance and optimal terms.


Metrics for Evaluation:
  • Channel Performance: Growth in sales and operational efficiency within the Vendor Central channel.
  • Team Effectiveness: Success in mentoring and leading a high-performing team of brand managers.
  • Operational KPIs: Timely order fulfillment, minimized chargebacks, and robust, actionable reporting.

Technology Stack:

Our operations are supported by robust reporting tools, API integrations, and ERP systems designed to streamline Vendor Central processes. Your familiarity with Amazon's Vendor Central platform and related technologies will be critical in guiding our IT and back-office teams to deliver optimal support and system enhancements.

Work Environment:
