Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Director, Business Development - Nuclear Power.
As part of a global sales team, the Director, Business Development - Nuclear Power will leverage know-how and capability from our global business to create solutions that are recognized for innovation, value creation and meeting the customer's needs for the future, within a world where expectations are changing. This is a full-time Sales and Key Account Management position that will require a weekly presence at our key client's Kincardine, Ontario operations.

Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Director, Business Development - Nuclear Power.
As part of a global sales team, the Director, Business Development - Nuclear Power will leverage know-how and capability from our global business to create solutions that are recognized for innovation, value creation and meeting the customer's needs for the future, within a world where expectations are changing. This is a full-time Sales and Key Account Management position that will require a weekly presence at our key client's Kincardine, Ontario operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development and management of sales pursuits/relationships and strategic development of accounts within the nuclear power industry.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors, accessing senior organizational levels.
- Develop new business with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement to meet business objectives and targets.
- Leads development of sales strategies and win plans to grow accounts.
- Track and share customer relationship developments and prospects utilizing customer relationship digital platform.
- Lead pricing strategy development and pricing reviews, develops bid and proposal estimates and manages proposal budgets.
- Enable strong relationships within and across the Worley Group such that we can deliver the full suite of Worley's capabilities to our customers.
- Consistently advocates and adheres to sales process and procurement integrity guidelines.
- Represent Worley at marketing & conferences.
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Experienced in long-lead, multi-decision-maker sales for high-value capital projects.
- Intimate technical knowledge and robust professional network in the nuclear power industry is required.
- Extensive business development experience in the nuclear power sector within an engineering and/or construction service setting
- Experience selling or delivering large projects with EPC/EPCM elements and multi-office execution.
- Proven results in the development and growth of sales pipeline and securing purchase orders.
- Experience with complex account management and multi-decision maker selling.
- Has already received or can qualify to receive necessary security clearance for nuclear industry.
- Strategic thinker who can develop and implement customer-specific pursuit plans to align key account needs with Worley's full suite of service offerings.
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Engineering Degree with a strong technical background preferred; however, consideration will be given to others with proven sales and business development experience in the engineering and /or nuclear power industries.
