Momento, a Chicago based sports fan experience and data company, is currently accepting applications for the Director, Business Development position. This position will lead business development and sales efforts, focusing on generating revenue through new business opportunities. Momento is a sports fan experience service that provides the rollercoaster ride photo for every fan at every moment from every game. The keepsake for fans is truly one-of-a-kind. Momento also help teams and brand connect on a deeper level with their audience through unique analytics and insights.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead all outbound business development efforts for Momento, focusing on professional sports teams and sponsors across the United States and Canada
  • Coordinate and lead sales calls with potential new partners
  • Complete the entire sales process from prospecting, building presentations, follow up and contract negotiations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to get meetings with various sports industry professionals
  • Develop sales strategies to best position Momento's service to fit client needs
  • Assists Client Services to ensure a smooth transition when onboarding new partners and provides support when renewing existing ones
  • Support other related duties as required


Requirements
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience prospecting and generating sales in and around the sports industry
  • Ability to connect on a professional and human level with prospective clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Establish, manage and grow a sales pipeline
