Business Transformation Directors are critical new roles reporting to the new Business Transformation and Strategy Lead in Transformation Services, a newly created organization charged with the acceleration and delivery of enterprise priorities.
Business Transformation Directors will serve as the primary Transformation Management Office (TMO) point of contact for major efforts within the TMO's mandate and will partner closely with enterprises to drive transformation efforts from strategy through implementation and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with enterprise leaders to drive transformation efforts from strategy through implementation and execution.
- Develop a deep understanding of the enterprise we are supporting, including its business model, organizational strengths and opportunities, culture, etc.
- Design transformation strategies and roadmaps to meet firm-wide and enterprise-wide objectives.
- Build teams and routines who will execute against transformation strategies and roadmaps.
- Oversee implementation and execution of transformation work, which includes adapting plans as needed and proactively managing risks and issues.
- Communicate to stakeholders, amplify engagement, and ensure needs are met throughout the transformation efforts (e.g., ensuring alignment with the vision, sustaining a sense of excitement and enthusiasm, ensuring field readiness, etc.)
- Lead matrixed team members, with potential for direct team leadership, towards successful transformation outcomes.
- Support the broader portfolio of TMO initiatives by providing surge support where needed.
- Help strengthen Schwab's overall "change muscle" by regularly contributing to transformation best practices and supporting broader communications.

What you have
Required:
- 10+ years of work experience, including 2-3 years of strategy and consultative work across organizations in a large enterprise environment
- Extensive experience leading readiness efforts for large-scale, multi-year pre- and post-merger integrations an enterprise size/level company comparable to Schwab.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability developing materials and effectively presenting information.
- Expert user of PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong executive presence and relationship management skills; ability to influence senior leadership and enroll employee support and engagement.
Preferred:
- Experience in matrixed and direct team leadership
- Strong preference towards financial services experience
