The Aultman Clinical Unit Director is a professional colleague whose primary responsibility is to provide supervision and leadership to a specified clinical unit(s).

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:
The Invasive Heart Lab is home to four state-of-the-art dedicated Heart Cath Labs with one dedicated hybrid Cath Lab for Structural Heart Procedures and 2 newly remodeled Electrophysiology (EP) labs. This busy department performed 4572 cardiac catheterizations, 1449 PCIs, 1383 Stents, 129 Watchman procedures, 224 TAVRs, and 26 Impella devices in 2023. This department collaborates with colleagues and departments across the Aultman Deuble Heart & Vascular Hospital and the Aultman Health System.

Qualifications

The Aultman Clinical Unit Director is a professional colleague whose primary responsibility is to provide supervision and leadership to a specified clinical unit(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of accredited School of Radiology or Nursing with Bachelors degree required and Masters degree preferred;
- Current, valid Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or OBN or multistate license to practice registered nursing pursuant to Section 4723.11 of Ohio Revised Code.
- Advanced educational and experiential qualifications with consideration of the following:
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience;
- Understanding of the organization's scope and complexity and the position's responsibility;
- Knowledge of the scope and complexity of the nursing care needs of the major populations served, as well as the culturally diverse and special needs of the population;
- Certification - required for those meeting certifying agency eligibility requirements preferred; and
- Maintain membership in a professional organization required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- 24/7 responsibility for unit/department(s).
- On call rotation required.
- Flexes time to interact with colleagues on off hours/shifts.
- Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
