Director Communications, Marketing, and Donor Relations

Regular Full-time

Duties: This position reports to the Vice President, Student Success and focuses on the planning, development, implementation, management, and evaluation of the college's marketing and recruitment strategies and communications, donor and alumni relations in alignment with the College's strategic directives.

Qualifications:
  • Masters in Communications, Marketing, Public relations or related discipline
  • Five years of progressive experience in public and community relations, communications and marketing
  • Experience working within post-secondary education would be an asset

Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and HRIS systems
  • Advanced leadership, change management, team building, and conflict management skills
  • Advanced ability to motivate and inspire not only the direct team but the college community
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to manage meetings, build consensus, and successfully engage project sponsors, stakeholders, and teams

Salary: The starting annual salary is $106,310 to $141,747 for this Management Group position. Management Group employees are eligible for annual salary increases within and above the starting range through demonstrated performance.

The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including a defined pension, generous vacation entitlements, health and dental plan, and more.
