Summary/objectiveThis individual must have strong knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance and/or regulatory law. Experience working with clients and utilizing this experience and knowledge to assist corporations, universities and financial institutions in developing, testing, and monitoring compliance programs.

Job Duties
  • Develop, improve, and monitor compliance programs in a broad range of industries; oversee execution and improvement of internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify regulatory and business requirements establishing and developing best practices to promote compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Build and direct special compliance teams which may include investigators, fraud examiners, forensic accountants, business intelligence analysts, researchers, and attorneys to monitor in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Trade Compliance.
  • Creates and enhances client deliverables including, but not limited to, interview notes, research summaries, expert reports, and the presentation of findings.
  • Builds strong client relationships through positive client support and sound expertise.
  • Participate in senior high level management meetings to execute and communicate recommendations to improve compliance.
  • Lead and participate in business development activities which includes marketing, proposal drafting, and networking initiatives.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and Juris doctorate or master's degree preferred.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in regulatory compliance and law; AML, Sanctions, FCPA, Government Contracts, etc.
  • Proven track record of success in client management and business development.
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and written, is a key component of this role.
  • Proven ability to lead, collaborate and influence across organizations; maintain internal and external client relationships.
  • Experience working in Office 365 (including Teams, Word, Excel, etc.) and strong understanding of technology platforms.

Travel

Travel to work at client sites as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, much of the work may be done sitting at a desk, using a computer, typing, handling phone calls, filing, and using office equipment such as like printers and copiers. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Salary Range

The base annual salary range offered for this position is based on numerous factors, including job-related skills and knowledge, experience, specific location, relevant education and/or training. In addition to the annual salary, we offer a full benefits package.
