About the Role

The Director of Content and Channel, Executive Communications leads content strategy and creative execution for client projects focused on building executive social platforms. This position brings innovative thinking, proactive ideas and deep subject matter expertise to the table, leading strategic direction in executive digital storytelling. The director has a finger on the pulse of trends in social media, executive content strategies and digital experiences that elevate executive voices, drive brand awareness and engage audiences to action.

This role is on the team leading the charge on AI storytelling and education, where executive voice is imperative to expanding understanding and advancing the future.
Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive strategic counsel to day-to-day clients and senior leadership, shaping the digital footprint of the executives aligned to the Microsoft brand
  • Lead and develop insight-based social media strategies for a series of Microsoft executives that deliver impact against the client's business imperatives
  • Mobilize agency expertise and lead teams to deliver creative ideas and execute aligned with social platform constructs and audience understanding
  • Manage day-to-day engagement with clients, define and manage priorities, deliver work on time and against the client and agencies quality expectations
  • Be financially accountable for developing scopes, managing budgets to the scope and ongoing client communications on budgets
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and emerging platforms, integrating them into our strategy and sharing with clients
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience managing executive social media and digital experiences
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms such as Threads and Bluesky
  • Proven ability to deliver strong strategic counsel, critical thinking and creative ideation verbally in and writing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, be flexible and move at the pace of social.
  • Excellent communication, data storytelling, insight-based strategy and presentation skills.
  • Strong team collaboration abilities and client engagement skills.

Compensation

The base annual salary range for this role, applicable across all U.S. locations, is outlined below. The actual salary may vary based on several factors such as business requirements, job responsibilities, skills, experience, and geographical location.

Salary Range

$125,000-$163,000 USD
