Responsibilities
As the Director of Data & Application Strategy, you will serve as the principal strategic advisor to the Chief Information Officer, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology vision. This role is responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive data strategy that drives business value, ensures data governance excellence, and enables data-empowered decision-making. Additionally, you will provide thought leadership in enterprise application strategy, ensuring technology investments align with business priorities. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with senior executives, and drive innovation through the strategic use of data and applications.

Qualifications
10+ years in IT leadership roles with a strong background in data strategy and experience with enterprise applications
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience

Strategic Leadership & Advisory
- Act as the Head of IT's key thought partner, influencing IT and business strategy with a strong data-driven approach.
- Provide executive-level insights and recommendations on technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Prepare and deliver strategic briefings, roadmaps, and reports to IT leadership and business executives.
- Drive a culture of data-centric decision-making across the enterprise.
Data Strategy & Governance
- Develop and execute a forward-looking data strategy that aligns with business goals and creates measurable value.
- Lead enterprise-wide data governance, ensuring best practices in data quality, security, and accessibility.
- Establish and implement scalable data architecture, processes, and analytics frameworks.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and prioritize data-driven initiatives that improve efficiency, profitability, and competitive advantage.
- Streamline and automate data workflows to enhance operational effectiveness.
Enterprise Application Strategy
- Collaborate on and oversee the enterprise application strategy, ensuring systems are optimized to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to assess, implement, and maintain critical applications.
- Ensure seamless integration of applications with data platforms to enable analytics-driven insights.
- Identify opportunities for application rationalization, modernization, and automation to enhance business agility and efficiency.
Team & Program Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of data and business analysts and drive cross-functional projects
- Oversee execution of data and application initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
- Foster collaboration across IT, finance, operations, and other business units to drive technology adoption and value realization.
- Monitor performance through KPIs and continuously refine strategies to optimize business impact.
