Director, Data Engineer (The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Shelton, CT):

Attend Daily Scrum calls and update Product Owner and Team with status. Provide technical guidance and be a technical mentor to SCRUM team. Self-managing to come up with pre-
sprint technical design and grooming activities. Drive user story analysis, elaboration and design. Ensure code quality is high with supporting unit test and automation, along with adherence
to ISG Standards and Guidelines. Drive low-level design and contributes to high-level architecture. Champion modular design, reuse, separation of concern, high cohesion and loose
coupling. Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable Prudential standards. Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines. Research problems
discovered by testing or Production Support and develop solutions to the problems. Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality. Ensure that software standards and quality targets are met via mandatory code reviews.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $193,300.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 10 years of experience in all of the following:
  • Informatica PowerCenter;
  • UNIX; and
  • Relational DB with Strong SQL.


Of the required experience, must have 9 years of experience in all of the following:
  • Informatica Data Quality; and
  • Informatica PowerExchange/Navigator.


Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in all of the following:
  • Datastage; and
  • Informatica Cloud.


Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:
  • AWS;
  • NSCC;
  • Informatica DVO; and
  • Working on Scrum team/agile methodology.


Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.

Domestic travel required up to 10%. No international travel required.
