The Director, Distributor Planning is responsible for the successful implementation and planning to reach our company sales goals through leveraging the partnership between our sales team and distributors. This person leads with vision and innovation by providing tools, gathering data and finding solutions to ensure success. By working though the sales team and distributor, this role ensures success though incentives and programs that motivate, inspire and allows both parties to drive sales.

- Develop goals for national sales and chain teams in conjunction with senior leadership.
- Plan annually with senior leadership to determine budgets needed to reach goals.
- Build annual planning process with National Sales Team to plan the year ahead, outlining resources needed and key initiatives for the upcoming year.
- Partner with RNDC and Regional Distributor Partners to define Corporate Programs and Goals.
- Lead presentation creation for key corporate meetings.
- Create impactful selling tools for the field including Sales Playbooks and Sales Leadership Calendar.
- Organize Sales Planning SharePoint Site and tools needed to reach goals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to create and align on internal programs i.e.: Riboli Nation Tours and Riboli Roadshow, and other various internal programs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within Finance, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales Teams, Italian Production Team and Logistics to ensure clear ways of working and pathway to success.
- Analyze progress to goal with key stakeholders to anticipate roadblocks; identify and communicate solutions.
- Responsible for development and communication of route to market for innovation with distributors and sales team.
- Job execution will break into following components:
- 25 - 30% travel
- 20% Admin
- 50% planning, analyzing, creating, tracking programs
- Travel as necessary to meet job responsibilities as outlined.
- Support various projects on an as needed basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years plus in Adult Beverage industry or comparable.
- Experience with Adult Beverage Distribution preferred.
- National Chain experience is a plus.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with an understanding of iDig, Nielsen, Microsoft Suite, and Microstrategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong ability to follow up and provide clear feedback if needed.
- Ability to interact and collaborate with all functional levels and business areas.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with others.
- Strong relational skills and ability to anticipate needs.
- Comfortable working in an in-person and mobile, interactive environment.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to the company.
