Overview

Provide engineering leadership and support to PBNA Supply Chain, by working on major capital capacity, innovation, and cost management projects as well as infrastructure work and strategic initiatives. The individual in this position will provide capital project management and/or project oversight for major CAPEX approvals at PBNA North American manufacturing locations. This position works closely with Operations, Marketing, Package and Product Development, Procurement and external suppliers. This position is responsible for driving standardization and serving as a technical liaison to plants.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven capital project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expert in negotiating with vendors, contractors and consultants
  • Strong functional expertise in packaging, processing, capital project management, TPM and LSS processes
  • Subject Matter Expert in Aseptic Pasteurization, Syrup Rooms, CIP Systems & Heat Recovery technology
  • Subject Matter Expert in Plant Power distribution systems
  • Proven leadership in troubleshooting/problem solving in manufacturing environment
  • Proven start-up Leader of large-scale Production lines/Systems
  • Self-motivated, results- & action-oriented
  • Strong influencing and team building skills required to manage and lead cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in managing, hiring and coaching direct reports, exempt and non-exempt
  • Computer skills to include solid understanding of computer maintenance management systems, reporting/tracking software, Excel, MS Project, etc.
  • High proficiency with basics of finance, product cost accounting and statistical process control. Able to effectively manage and track project spending and report financials on a regular basis

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Chemical or Electrical Engineering
  • BS Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of project engineering experience, with a strong focus on process design, utilities and project management
  • Solid understanding of plant maintenance and mfg operations
  • Able to travel; individual can expect to be out of the office approximately 30% of the time to facilitate and manage plant projects
  • Individual project CAPEX expenditure experience should be in excess of $7.0MM
