We're looking for a Director, Enterprise Systems who will be responsible for two primary areas of focus. Managing strategic project(s) and/or program(s) as part of a broad and long-term business transformation agenda. Operational support of Enterprise Systems that are utilized across the organization's portfolio including Yardi ERP and data systems that support business objectives.

Operational support of Enterprise Systems that are utilized across the organization's portfolio including Yardi ERP and data systems that support business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs large-scale, complex business excellence and innovation programs involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Directly manages all aspects of the program/project strategy, approach and lifecycle working with all pertinent business units, such as but not limited to Property Management, Asset Management, Portfolio, Finance, IT, and HR partners to oversee all phases of the program/project, and ensures that related people, processes and technology activities are completed as required (including, as applicable, change management, process management, quality management, etc.)
- Manage program and project scope, plans inter-dependencies, timelines, budgets, communications, business goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Provides continued insight in the viability of the business case as the program progresses, while tracking benefit realization and program costs versus original budget
- Drives program/project tracking & reporting consistent with GWLRA processes and best practices as defined by the Business Excellence & Innovation team
- Ensures program issues and risks are identified, quantified, managed, tracked and escalated as required. Uses past experiences to proactively "anticipate" risk and develop appropriate mitigation strategies and plans. Ensures risks, assumptions and constraints are appropriately communicated and escalated when necessary
- Provides leadership, motivation, coaching and mentorship to program/project team members in order to obtain a high level of co-operation and contribution
- Oversees the day-to-day operations, maintenance and support of Enterprise Systems
- Manage and develop a team of support professionals, providing guidance and support
- Manage relationships with parent company, vendors, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies, both internal and external
- Contributes to best practices of the GWLRA Business Excellence & Innovation to help drive consistency, transparency and execution excellence on programs
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of solid experience in project/program management, including managing large-scale projects/programs of significant complexity and value is highly preferred, as is 7-10 years of operational support for systems such as an ERP
- Solid experience in Process Excellence (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma), Project Management, Business Process Management, Change Management, Yardi and/or ERP are highly preferred
- Accounting experience is an asset
- Proficient in the use of project management tools and processes
- Industry specific knowledge and experience is an asset
