Position Summary:
Under the direction of the VP Finance, responsible for the planning, direction, and operation of the financial services for the Plan. Duties include but are not limited to directing all financial reporting, asset control and disbursement processing functions in addition to coordinating the preparation of all financial statements. Assists where necessary or through project management those business ventures undertaken by the Plan to ensure its profitable future.
This position with require the leader to come onsite as scheduled, Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field; or an Associate Degree with two (2) years related experience.
- Five (5) years' experience in a progressively more responsible leadership role in core financial activities involving complex financial analysis and leading core finance activities with at least three (3) years' experience in a management role with direct reports leading or assisting in all phases of effective supervision (i.e. Recruitment, performance management, training).
- Three (3) years' experience accounting or financial role and proven knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and procedures.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Five (5) years' experience and knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO and Managed Care functions (e.g. accounting/finance, reinsurance, EDI, marketing, administration, medical delivery, regulatory compliance, claims processing, membership/eligibility, contracting and risk arrangements and actuarial precepts).
- Affiliation with appropriate professional organization.
