About the Role:

You are the subject matter expert and representative for forensics and technology advisory by leading a team and collaborating with partners to govern and develop standards for the discipline. Responsibility for revenue and controllable expense budget for forensics, technology advisory, and National Accreditation Commission (NAC), developing strategy to grow both areas internationally, and managing credential programs for Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credentials and exams. You'll report to VP - Member Value, Tax & Advisory Services and have 4 direct reports. This is a remote position.

You Will:

Lead forensic and technology disciplines and NAC to achieve strategic goals of growth, revenue and professional competency.

Govern CFF and CITP credentials including opportunities for expansion, relevance of the bodies of knowledge, psychometric exam administration, recertifications, and job analyses.

Lead advocacy efforts for forensic and technology advisory services through collaboration with the legislative affairs team and internal/external partners to analyze developments and issues affecting forensic accounting and technology advisory services.

Responsible for membership growth including the public accounting practice unit, Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) section, CFF and CITP credentials; controllable expense budgets for FVS (shared with Valuation), Technology Advisory, and NAC; forensic accounting and technology advisory related products including development and marketing.

Manage strategic relationships (Big 4, MFG, State Societies, regulatory bodies, competing organizations, alliance organizations, academia, vendors, consultants, influencers, and members) and committees for Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee (Sr. Committee with standard setting authority and speaking out rights), Forensic & Litigation Services Committee, Information Management Technology and Assurance Executive Committee, Certified Information Technology Professional Credential Committee, CFF Credential Committee and National Accreditation Commission.

Respond to media, technical inquiries, practice development questions, product development and regulatory issues.

You Have:

Minimum 8-10 years related experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Subject matter expertise in existing accounting and credential methods, tools, markets and market-related programs from the perspectives of the competition, the member base and the regulatory environment; able to apply this knowledge to remain relevant with AICPA's specialty credentials advantages.

Experience using business process improvement tools and techniques to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.

Knowledge of the accounting any of the following disciplines: Personal Financial Planning (PFP); Business Valuation (BV); Forensic and Litigation Support (FLS); and Information Technology (IT).

General knowledge of the regulatory and standards landscape

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $159,000-$200,000
