Director Global Solution Center Americas

Location: Kennesaw, GA

Description:

This position encompasses the management of the Global Solution Center Americas and is part of the Global Solution Factory Management Team responsible for strategic direction and policies for the Solution centers.

This role requires a focus on successfully meeting and exceeding financial / KPI goals through market strategy, analysis and action based on results.

Skills Required
  • Overall responsibility for Solution center Financial / KPI Goal achievement.
  • Global solution Center Americas head count planning (FTE),
  • Overall responsibility to meet the Cost saving goals of the solution Center per the BSC
  • Create and maintain standardized Process and KPI synchronization between the GSC's.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Solution center management team, to review ongoing process execution and standardized operational procedures throughout the Global Solution Centers.
  • Manage continuous Improvement process with the GSC Americas.
  • Manage escalated conflict resolution for internal employees of the GSC.
  • Create and maintain Job descriptions for the GSC managers and assist them with their team member job descriptions.
  • Work with the GSC team managers to ensure correct teams sizes to meet the goals of the GSF
  • Work with the Team mangers regarding Resource Synchronization of the resources between the 3 GSC's. Coordinate with other GSCs to arrange backup if necessary.
  • Responsible to interview and assess the suitability of potential new GSC Team members.
  • Work closely with the cluster heads when dealing with shared resources.
  • Work with the Product Management team and the GSC team Leaders to ensure smooth release of new products and product updates.
  • Carry out Presentations for customer Open houses etc. when required.
  • Provide Sales support when requested.
  • Act as Corporate representative and Technical witness in product liability cases.
  • Work with the Clusters managers / Territory managers / GSC Team Managers / Technology Center team / Managed Service team in the event of customer escalation to ensure that all service commitments are met to our customers. I.e. warranties, production commitments, response times, special projects, after hours service etc.
  • Work with the GSC managers to create an annual training plan and PMA Training.
  • Determine the requirements for any necessary training for the GSC managers.
  • Overall budgeting responsibility for training with the GSC Americas.
  • Assist the territory manager in evaluating the annual training plan for FSR.


Skills:
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and arrive to sound conclusions.


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years' experience related to role
  • Minimum 4 years supervisory experience
  • SAP experience required

Travel:
